Hitting is an art. It is the hardest thing to do in any sport. The greatest hitters of all time failed over 60% of the time. There are different ways to get into the hitting position. If you watch hitters in the big leagues, you will see many different styles of hitting. If you watch video of those hitters, they all start differently, but at the contact point, they all look very similar.
